Photography in the Parks
All organized/professional photography and video in the Parks requires a permit.

Alcohol in the Parks
Per the Metro Parks and Recreation Department, which established the rules and regulations for all Metro Parks, alcohol is prohibited in Warner Parks.
Wildlife in the Parks
Respect the wildlife. Never feed or approach a wild, stray or injured animal. If you see something unusual, please notify the Warner Parks Nature Center staff. *

Metropolitan Government of Nashville & Davidson County leash laws and regulations regarding the removal of dog waste are strictly enforced throughout Warner Parks. Dogs are welcome throughout Warner Parks (with the exception of the
Burch Reserve) as long as they are kept on a leash, no longer than six feet in length. The
Edwin Warner Dog Park is a leash-free zone where dogs may play freely within the fenced area. View a complete list of rules and regulations

Running in the Parks
Running is allowed on roadways and
hiking trails, but never on
horse trails (a spooked horse may cause injury to the rider and/or runner; walking is also prohibited on the horse trails). Runners may run in groups of no more than 3 individuals and must yield to hikers and walkers.
Mountain Biking in Parks
Mountain bikes are
allowed only on Percy Warner’s professionally constructed mountain bike trails. Mountain biking is not allowed in hiking trails or horse trails.
