Spend your summer outside at the Warner Park Nature Center!

A note on Camps and Covid-19

With the Covid-19 pandemic still among us, Warner Park Nature Center has decided to cancel our Naturalist Summer Camp programs for June and July 2020. While we share your disappointment, our focus remains on the health & safety of our visitors & staff. We look forward to offering this programming once more in the future!

Explorers Naturalist Camp

Monday, June 22-Friday, June 26, 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Ages 6-9
$125 for Davidson County Residents, $150 for non-residents.
Spend a week in the outdoors exploring what fascinates you! Search for tadpoles, turn over a rotting log and hunt for salamanders. We'll hike, encounter live animals and new adventures.

Insect Naturalist Camp

Monday, July 13- Friday, July 17, 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Ages 8-12
Butterflies, dragonflies, praying mantises, beetles... just how many insects can we discover throughout Warner Park? Investigate the forests, fields, creeks, and ponds through a naturalist’s lens. Expect to be surprised, to be awed, to be baffled by what we find -- but most of all, expect the unexpected as we use all the tools of a naturalist to explore the world of insects.
