JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
2020 Winter S.W.E.A.T. TEAM (Special Work Education And Trails)


TIME PERIOD:  January 11 through February 26, 2021                   

HOURS: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.                          

AGES: 18 years and over

SALARY: $15.15 per hour                             

Do you love working outside? Do you love hiking and learning about the natural world? Would you like to make a difference in your local ecosystem and Park? Then this job is for YOU!


We are looking for strong, energetic, dependable people who are willing to work hard outside in all kinds of weather improving the Warner Parks’ hiking trails, contributing to invasive plant management, and helping with gardening, landscaping, and other special projects.


Team members will also learn to work with tools such as fire rakes, mattocks, bow saws, sledge hammers, loppers, pole pruners, shovels, hammers, drills, post hole diggers, tamping bars, and especially your hands!  Being experienced with a variety of tools is especially helpful. You should be able to carry logs, rocks and tools for up to a half mile to the trail work site.
