Betty Krogman, WPNC Urban Naturalist

Betty (pictured above) grew up in the Finger Lakes region of New York state before relocating to Nashville in 1976 with her family. Her favorite part of working in the Parks is interacting with the public. Friends of all ages visit the Warner Park Nature Center, and she cherishes the opportunity to share a little park passion and fascination with the natural world with them! When she isn’t doing community center outreach or staffing the front desk, Betty likes to quilt and raise money for End the Hopelessness charity.

Will Chamberlain, WPNC Naturalist

Mr. Will (pictured top right) grew up in a rural community less than 20 miles NE of Louisville, KY. After moving to Nashville in 1965 for college, he met his wife, Annette, and became a teacher. His hobbies include geology, astronomy and biology. What he enjoys most about working in Warner Parks is learning something new every day! Mother Nature is full of endless educational opportunities, we tell you what!

Rebecca Dandekar, WPNC Naturalist

Rebecca relocated (pictured bottom right) to Nashville from the Chicago suburbs in 2006, after previously living in East Tennessee. She loves working in Warner Parks to observe, protect and safely share the Parks’ rich natural world. When she isn’t working, Rebecca spends her free time backpacking/hiking, teaching chess & gardening. There's little separation between her work and play, now that's a recipe to live by.

Friends of Warner Parks is here to preserve, steward, and #ProtectWarnerParks in all it's facets - and the Warner Park Nature Center and its staff are an integral part, funded through the generosity of friends like you! Make a donation or become a member today.
