Using limestone and cedar from Warner Parks and the surrounding areas, the WPA built a significant number of shelters still present in the parks amidst the height of the Great Depression. With over $500,000 in funding, Friends of Warner Parks restored all historic shelters in 2013. See park map for details.

Historic Hodge House

Reserve the historic Hodge House, available for parties up to 40 people. Call Cammie Claybrook to schedule (615.370.8051) and click here for additional info. This historic home was originally built in 1811 and restored through Friends of Warner Parks and Metro Parks efforts.
